When Was Your Watershed Moment?
For some it was his public mockery of a disabled journalist, or his dissing of war heroes and war dead as “suckers” and “losers.” For many it was the “You can grab them by the pussy…If you’re famous, they’ll let you do anything” taped comments. For others it was emotionally abused, tortured and traumatized children at the border. For yet others, it was proclaiming his ‘love’ for Kim Jong Un, a mass murderer, or his slavish obedience and submission to an equally repugnant dictator, Putin, or his corrupt legal sheltering of serial murderer, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
Still others marked his lauding of violent Neo-Nazis and White Supremacists as “very fine people.” For others, the crowning achievement of his utter depravity was his tear gassing and police (unmarked government militia) battery of a peaceful, fully legal Black Lives Matter assembly, only so as to stage a photo op in front of a boarded up church in DC, where he inexplicably held a Bible upside down and posed.
For thousands of bereaved souls is was, and will be, how he lied about the pandemic and did NOTHING to stem the tide of infections, sickness, and deaths, even though he KNEW how deadly and contagious it actually was from the start — as revealed in his taped interviews with Bob Woodward for ‘Fear’ — or how he actually militated against observing even the most rudimentary cautions and protections, even though they are the proven, time-tested remedies in times of contagious disease epidemics, like wearing masks, or like avoiding mass gatherings, of which he actually, personally hosted scores in the worst months of the pandemic, which became infamous super spreader events in their own rights.
We’ve all had our watershed moments with this inhuman blot.
